A certain document, copies of which are on file in the office of the Township Administrator, 117 Park Avenue, Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, being marked and designated as "National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standard No. 10. Standard for the Installation of Portable Fire Extinguishers," be and is hereby adopted as the prescribed regulations and standards for the selection, classification, location, distribution, installation and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers for commercial, industrial, office, multiple-occupancy and institutional buildings in Upper Moreland Township.[1]

The Fire Marshal and Assistant Fire Marshal of Upper Moreland Township shall enforce the regulations and standards adopted by this article.
Any person who, having received notice to correct a condition which constitutes a violation to the regulations of this article, fails to comply with such notice and the requirements thereof shall, upon summary conviction before a magisterial district judge, be sentenced to pay a fine of no less than $100 nor more than $1,000 and, in default thereof, shall undergo imprisonment not to exceed 30 days. Each day that a violation continues after expiration of the time allotted by notice to correct said violation shall be deemed a separate offense.
