It shall be unlawful for any person or persons, firm or corporation to establish any junkyards either on public or private property within the limits of the Township of Upper Moreland.
The establishment of any junkyard within the limits of the Township of Upper Moreland is hereby declared to be a public nuisance and liable to be abated as provided by law.
Any person or persons, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this article shall be liable on conviction thereof to pay a penalty not less than $100 nor more than $1,000 for each and every offense, and whenever such person or persons shall have been notified by the Building Inspector or by service of summons in a prosecution or in any other way that he is committing such violation, each day thereafter that he continues and persists in such violation shall constitute a separate offense. Such fines or penalties shall be collected as like fines are now collected by law.
