No person shall coast on or across any public sidewalk or street of the town except at such times and in such places as may from time to time be designated by the Select Board.
No person shall ride a bicycle, ride or drive a horse or any other animal or operate a motor vehicle on any public sidewalk of the town, unless authorized by the Select Board.

No person shall park a motor vehicle on Route 21 from the intersection of Route 202 for a distance of 4,415 feet and ending at the intersection of Chauncey Walker Street and Turkey Hill Road.
B. 
[1]No person shall park a motor vehicle on the westerly side of North Main Street from the intersection of Jackson Street and North Main Street for a distance northerly of 500 feet.

No person shall park a motor vehicle on Gold Street from the intersection of Knight Street for a distance southerly of 1,800 feet.

No person shall park a motor vehicle on Gold Street from the intersection of Knight Street for a distance westerly of 1,200 feet.

No person shall park a motor vehicle on Knight Street from the intersection of Gold Street for a distance easterly of 200 feet.

F. 
No person shall park a motor vehicle in front of the following properties identified as Assessors Map 102, Lots 1, 2, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69 and 71; and Assessors Map 103, Lots 33, 35 and 37, all of which are located at the triangle intersection of Metacomet Street and Federal Street.

No person shall park a motor vehicle on the Town-controlled portion of State Street from Maple Street to the intersection of Route 21.

Starting at State Street and going for a distance of 100 yards, limit parking to the west side of Stadler Street.

A. 
The entrance to and exit from the town parking area as now established on the southerly end of the Common shall be at locations to be established by order of the Select Board after a public hearing, and they shall be clearly designated by signs.
B. 
It shall be unlawful for any person to drive a motor vehicle into or out of said parking area by any route or way other than the entrance or exit established and designated by order of the Select Board.
C. 
The operator of a motor vehicle about to enter said parking area shall proceed at a speed that is reasonable under the circumstances, but in no event at more than eight miles per hour.
D. 
The operator of a motor vehicle about to leave said parking area shall stop his vehicle before passing through the exit into the public highway, unless otherwise ordered by a police officer.
E. 
The operator of a motor vehicle within the parking area shall proceed at a speed that is reasonable under the circumstances, but in no event over eight miles per hour.
F. 
The operator of a motor vehicle within the parking area shall park his vehicle in one of several spaces designated on the ground and/or indicated by signs to be posted by order of the Select Board.
G. 
The Select Board is authorized and empowered to close said parking area, or any part thereof, to public use, if such action is deemed necessary or expedient in the making of repairs or improvements thereon.
H. 
It shall be unlawful for any person to throw, deposit or leave any waste, rubbish or other similar materials within said parking area or on any public way or Common adjacent thereto.
I. 
Violations of any of the provisions of the foregoing Subsections A through H, inclusive, shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $10 for each offense, to be recovered as provided in MGL c. 21, § 40.

A. 
Equine riders utilizing public roadways 1/2 hour prior to sunset until 1/2 hour after dawn must wear, in a conspicuous manner on chest, back, and on said equine, a minimum of 500 square inches of reflective material. This reflective material shall be properly displayed on both horse and rider and visible from all four sides.
B. 
In addition to any other enforcement method authorized by law, this bylaw may be enforced by any police officer of the Town of Belchertown through the noncriminal disposition procedure set forth in MGL c. 40, § 21D, and the Town's Noncriminal Disposition Bylaw.[1] If noncriminal disposition is elected, violations of the foregoing section shall be punishable by a warning for first offense, fine of $100 second offense, $250 third offense, and $300 for fourth and subsequent offenses.
