It shall be unlawful for any person to erect, construct, maintain, place or leave any structure, fence, post or other object upon any public way.

All trees, shrubs, etc., shall be trimmed to a minimum height of 10 feet above any sidewalk, street, etc. The clear sight triangle shall remain free of any obstacle or structure between three feet and 10 feet above street level.
It shall be unlawful to either:
A. 
Hinder, annoy, or molest persons passing along any street, sidewalk, crosswalk, or other public way; or
B. 
Loiter, sit, or stand around or at the entrance of any church, public hall, theater, public building, or other place of public assemblage in any manner so as to unreasonably obstruct such entrance.
It shall be unlawful for any person to erect, construct or maintain any awning or canopy over or across any sidewalk within the City at any point lower than eight feet from the surface of the sidewalk.

It shall be unlawful for any person to keep a stand for the sale of any item within 10 feet of any public way or to do anything to draw a crowd so as to interfere with vehicular or pedestrian traffic; provided, however, that upon written application to the City Council by the vendor, the City Council, in its discretion, may allow such stand to be operated.
It shall be the duty of all occupants of premises within the City, under penalty of law, to keep the sidewalk in front of such premises free and clear of all obstructions at all times; except that when loading or unloading goods, such occupant may temporarily occupy such a portion of the sidewalk as is necessary, provided that a passageway is left open at all times.
It shall be unlawful for any person, other than a City employee acting within the scope of his duties, to plant trees or shrubbery in or upon any public grounds within the City or to remove, cut down, trim or otherwise alter the same.
A. 
It shall be unlawful for any person, organization, association, corporation, either private or public, or any entity whatsoever, including acequia and community ditch associations, or political subdivisions of the state, to allow irrigation water to drain on or along the side of any road or highway within the territorial boundaries of the City, causing damage to the surface of the highway, whether it is paved or unpaved.
B. 
It shall be unlawful for any person to allow to stand upon any ditch bank for a period of more than 24 hours any rubbish removed from any irrigation ditch.
It shall be unlawful for any person to sprinkle, throw, deposit or allow to flow any water upon any graded street within the City without permission from the City Manager.
It shall be unlawful for any person to write, print, letter, draw, place or affix any advertisement, announcement or design upon any public way within the City.
It shall be unlawful for any person to place injurious substances or throw or deposit or place any glass, bottles, nails, tacks, hoops, wire, cans or any other material or substances upon any public streets, alleys or other public places, which cause or which are likely to cause injury to any person, animal or vehicle traveling upon such public street, alley or public place.
