A. 
Payments to the Township must be made in the form of cash, personal or bank-certified check, money order, or credit or debit card that has been approved for use by the Township's credit/debit card service provider, except that payments for certificates of vital statistics may not be made in the form of non-bank-certified personal checks, and taxes payments may not be made by credit or debit card.
B. 
Cash payments to the Township by or on behalf of any specific person, entity or group, or on account of any specific debt or obligation, or, in the case of property taxes, toward any specific lot or lots, or by or on behalf of any specific person, entity or group owner or owners of any specific lot or lots, may not consist of more than $5 in coin currency per calendar week.
C. 
All Township officers and employees are hereby authorized to refuse, reject, and/or return any payment, attempted payment, or portion thereof, that is inconsistent with Subsection A or B, above, whereupon the amount of the refused, rejected and/or returned payment, attempted payment, or portion thereof, shall remain due and owing to the Township.
D. 
Township officers or employees who determine that a payment, attempted payment, or portion thereof, has been delivered to the Township and is inconsistent with Subsection A or B, above, are hereby authorized to turnover such payment, attempted payment, or portion thereof, to the New Jersey State Police, whereupon the amount of such turned-over payment, attempted payment, or portion thereof, shall remain due and owing to the Township.
