There is hereby created in the Municipality of Norristown a
parking meter district. The streets included in said district shall
contain and be regulated by parking meters as more fully described
herein.

Meters placed on streets within the parking meter district will
have a ten-hour time limit.

The parking fee for parking in the parking meter district shall
be established by resolution of the Norristown Municipal Council and
may be amended from time to time by resolution thereof.
A.
Metered parking within the parking meter district shall be Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., except legal holidays as defined in § 305-1B.

B.
It shall be unlawful and a violation of this article if any owner/operator
of any motor vehicle or other vehicle to park said vehicle in a parking
meter district without paying the appropriate meter parking fee.

The streets that are included in the parking meter district
shall be established by resolution of Municipal Council, and may be
amended by resolution of Council from time to time.
A.
Meter bags shall be available at a rate established by resolution
of the Municipal Council per day per meter space. All meter bags will
be marked "No Parking - Tow-Away Zone." Meter bags may be obtained
by contacting the Ticket Department 24 hours in advance.
B.
Any owner and/or operator of any automobile or other motor vehicle
who illegally parks at a bagged meter space within the district shall
be subject to a fine set forth herein. The violator's vehicle shall
be towed with the costs of same to be borne by the violator.
