[Adopted as Title 2, Ch. 2.52, of the 1986 Code]
In compliance with MGL c. 96, § 7, there shall,
on or before the first day of April in each year, be appointed by
the Mayor one or more measurers of lumber, who shall continue in office
until March 31 in the following year and until their successors are
appointed and qualified.
Before entering upon the duties of their office, such measurers
of lumber shall be sworn to the faithful performance thereof.
