The Mayor of the Borough of Hellertown shall receive as annual
compensation the sum of $2,400, payable in monthly installments of
$200 each.
The President of the Council of the Borough of Hellertown shall
receive as annual compensation the sum of $2,400, payable in monthly
installments of $200 each.
The members of the Council of the Borough of Hellertown, other
than the President of said Council, shall receive as annual compensation
the sum of $1,920, payable in monthly installments of $160 each.
In order to be eligible to receive the established monthly compensation
installment, the Mayor, President of Council or other members of Borough
Council shall have been in attendance at no less than 50% of all the
meetings of the Council of the Borough of Hellertown as may have been
convened during the calendar month for which the monthly compensation
is to be tendered.
The total annual compensation as paid to the Mayor or to the
President of Council or to the other members of Council may be modified
from time to time in accordance with the applicable provisions of
the Borough Code, Act of February 1, 1966, (1965 P.L. 1656, No. 581,
as amended)[1] and pursuant to a resolution as the same may be adopted
by the Council of the Borough of Hellertown.
