The Mayor shall be elected in accordance with the provisions
of the City Charter as amended and shall perform the duties prescribed
by the City Charter and General Laws and such additional laws as the
City Council, by ordinance or otherwise, may from time to time prescribe.

The annual compensation of the Mayor shall be $175,000, effective
January 1, 2024.
