No person shall cause bodily harm to another by an act done
with intent to cause bodily harm to that person or another without
the consent of the person so harmed.

No person shall attempt to commit a battery or a theft as defined by this chapter in §§
670-14 and
670-15, respectively. An attempt to commit an offense requires that the actor have the intent to perform acts and attain a result which, if accomplished, would constitute such offense and the actor does acts toward the commission of the offense which demonstrate unequivocally, under all circumstances, that the actor formed the intent and would commit the offense except for the intervention of another person or some other extraneous factor.

A. Whoever issues any check or other order for the payment of money
less that $500 within the limits of the Village of Fox Point which,
at the time of issuance, he or she intends shall not be paid shall
be subject to a forfeiture.
B. Any of the following is prima facie evidence that the person, at
the time of issuance of the check or other order for the payment of
money, intended it should not be paid:
(1) Proof that, at the time of issuance, the person did not have sufficient
funds or credit with the drawee.
(2) Proof that, at the time of issuance, the person did not have sufficient
funds or credit with the drawee and that the person failed within
five days after receiving notice of nonpayment or dishonor to pay
the check or other order.
(3) Proof that, when presentment was made within a reasonable time, the
person did not have sufficient funds or credit with the drawee and
the person failed within five days after receiving notice of nonpayment
or dishonor to pay the check or other order.
C. This section does not apply to a postdated check or to a check given
for a past consideration, except a payroll check.
D. In addition to the other penalties provided for violation of this
section, a judge may order a violator to pay restitution to a victim
as provided in § 943.24(5), Wis. Stats.
