It shall be unlawful for any person to violate or fail to comply with any provision of this chapter relating to any dog owned by such person.
A. 
Any person convicted of a violation of any provision set forth in this chapter shall be subject to the following fines:
(1) 
A fine of $50 for the first conviction relating to any dog owned by that person.
(2) 
A fine of $100 for the second conviction relating to any dog owned by that person.
(3) 
A fine of $200 for the third and subsequent conviction relating to any dog owned by that person.
B. 
Any person convicted of a violation of any provision of Article 7 of the Agriculture and Markets Law shall be fined as provided therein.
No remedy or penalty specified in this article shall be the exclusive remedy or penalty available to address any violation described in this chapter, and each remedy or penalty specified in this article shall be in addition to, and not in substitution for or limitation of, the other remedies or penalties specified in any other chapter of this Code or in any other applicable law. Any remedy or penalty specified in this article may be pursued at any time, whether prior to, simultaneously with or after the pursuit of any other remedy or penalty.
