Chemical toilets shall meet the design specifications of the manufacturer, provided that such specifications allow for a safe and sanitary operation and preclude any potential for health hazards, and the design of chemical toilets shall be of a type approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. If it remains or is to remain more than six months, whether by permit or permit and renewal, it shall be installed no less than 200 feet from any dwelling house or building of human habitation. If it is to remain less than six months, it shall be no less than 75 feet from any dwelling house or building of human habitation, except that where it is not possible to obtain the 75 feet distance, it must be at the farthest possible distance but in any event no less than 50 feet.
