This article shall be known and may be cited as the "Royal Oak
Golf Course Ordinance."
This is an ordinance to designate Royal Oak Golf Course, including
the nearby driving range and miniature golf course, for continued
use as a public recreational facility.
The Royal Oak City Commission hereby makes the following findings:
A.
The Royal Oak Golf Course (including the nearby driving range and
miniature golf course) has been used as a public recreational facility
by a significant number of residents of the City of Royal Oak and
their guests for a number of years.
B.
The Royal Oak Golf Course (including the nearby driving range and
miniature golf course) is a valuable recreational resource for the
City and its residents.
C.
The designation of Royal Oak Golf Course (including the nearby driving
range and miniature golf course) for continued use as a public recreational
facility would be in the best interest of the City and its residents.
D.
The designation of Royal Oak Golf Course (including the nearby driving
range and miniature golf course) for continued use as a public recreational
facility should be formalized by way of ordinance.
The following property is hereby designated for continued use
as a public recreational facility:
