A.
On the following bridges and streets or parts of streets, by authority
granted by Section 4902(a) of the Vehicle Code, it shall be unlawful
for any person or persons to drive any vehicle or combination having
a gross weight in excess of the maximum prescribed below for that
bridge or street or part of street, as the case may be:

B.
Any person who violates any provision of this section shall be prosecuted
under Sections 4902(a) and (g) through (1) of the Vehicle Code and,
upon conviction, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of $150 plus $150
for each 500 pounds, or part thereof, in excess of 3,000 pounds over
the maximum allowable weight, and costs.
A.
It shall be unlawful for any person to operate or park any tractor
trailer, semitrailer or truck trailer or any truck having a registered
gross vehicle weight of 10,000 pounds or more upon the following portions
of the highways in the Township:

B.
Gross vehicle weight shall be determined either from the vehicle
registration card issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles of the
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or from any state which lists the gross
vehicle weight on the registration certificate or card or as is stamped
upon the vehicle.
C.
Nothing
in this section shall prohibit any person from driving an emergency
vehicle on any of those streets or parts of streets or from driving
on any of those streets or parts of streets a truck or other commercial
vehicle making local deliveries to or pickups from premises located
along those streets or part of streets.
D.
Any person who violates any provision of this section shall, upon
conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of $25 and costs.
