The following fees are hereby established for the respective permits/services set forth opposite as follows:
A. 
Fees for permits shall be based on the estimated cost of construction (as calculated from the schedule below) or as otherwise shown below. A building permit shall be required for any building with greater than 144 square feet of floor area.
B. 
The following fees shall be applicable:

Public hearing fee: $75.
D. 
Single owner/operator business permit: $100.
E. 
Business permit renewal fee: $50.
F. 
Reinspection. Any reinspection in excess of normal inspections occasioned by failure to keep appointments: $20.
G. 
Renewals. The fee for renewal of permits, unless otherwise specified, will be 50% of the original permit fee.
H. 
Withdrawn permit applications. If a permit application is withdrawn prior to the issuance of a permit, 50% of the fee will be refunded.
I. 
Failure to obtain permit. If work or construction has commenced prior to obtaining a permit and the Code Enforcement Officer notifies the applicant to obtain a permit, the fee shall be two times the original fee.
