Editor's Note: This local law was approved by a majority of
the qualified electors voting at the general election held 11-3-1981.
Pursuant to Article 9-A of the General Municipal Law, subject
to the prohibitions contained herein and the Rules and Regulations
of the New York State Racing and Wagering Board, games of chance are
authorized in the Town of Hartland on any day of the week, including
Sunday.
The authority to issue licenses is hereby delegated to the duly
elected Town Clerk of the Town of Hartland.
The duly elected Sheriff of Niagara County is designated as
the person to exercise control over and supervision of all games of
chance under a license issued pursuant to this chapter and shall have
all those powers and duties set forth in the General Municipal Law
for the enforcement of the same
