It is the desire of the Borough Council of the Borough of Zelienople, Butler County, Pennsylvania, and the Borough Council hereby signifies its intention to organize an authority under the Municipalities Authorities Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended.[1]

The name of the proposed authority shall be the "Municipal Authority of the Borough of Zelienople, Butler County, Pennsylvania."
Pursuant to said desire and intention of the Borough Council and in conformance with the terms and provisions of said Municipality Authorities Act of 1945 and its amendments, the proposed Articles of Incorporation are hereby set forth in full, as follows:

In compliance with requirements of the Municipalities Authorities Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended, and pursuant to ordinance adopted by the municipal authorities of the Borough of Zelienople, Butler County, Pennsylvania, signifying their desire and intention to form a Municipal Authority and that a certificate of incorporation be issued to said Authority, the Borough of Zelienople does hereby certify:
A.
The name of the Authority shall be: "The Zelienople Airport Authority."

B.
The Authority is formed under the Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended.
C.
Connoquenessing Valley Joint School Authority, Butler County, Pennsylvania, has been organized under the Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended, and is in existence in the Borough of Zelienople, having been organized inter alia, by the School District of the Borough of Zelienople, Butler County, Pennsylvania. No other Authority has been organized under the provisions of this Act, or the Act approved the 28th day of June, 1935, P.L. 463, and is in existence within the said Borough.
D.
The name of the incorporating municipality is the Borough of Zelienople, Butler County, Pennsylvania.
E.
The names and addresses of the Burgess, President of Council and of all its members are as follows: (Here followed the names and addresses of the Borough officers.)
F.
The names, addresses and terms of office of the first members of the Board of said Authority are: (Here followed the names, addresses and terms of office of the first Board members.)
The term of the existence of the Authority is increased to a date of 50 years from the date of approval of these Articles of Amendment.

It is the desire of the Borough Council of the Borough of Zelienople, Butler County, Pennsylvania, and the Borough Council hereby signifies its intention, together with the Borough of Harmony and the Townships of Jackson and Lancaster, all located in Butler County, Pennsylvania, to organize a joint authority under the Municipality Authorities Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended.[1]

The name of the proposed joint authority shall be "Western Butler County Authority."

The following persons are hereby appointed members of the Board of the Western Butler County Authority for the terms of office indicated: (Here followed the names, addresses and terms of office of the first appointed members.)
Pursuant to said desire and intention of the Borough Council and in conformance with the terms and provisions of said Municipalities Authorities Act of 1945 and its amendments, the proposed Articles of Incorporation are hereby set forth in full, as follows:

In compliance with requirements of the Municipality Authorities Act of 1945, approved May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended, and pursuant to ordinances duly enacted by the municipal authorities of the Boroughs of Zelienople and Harmony and the Townships of Jackson and Lancaster, all of Butler County, Pennsylvania, signifying their desire and intention that a joint municipality authority be established under the provisions of the aforementioned law and that a certificate of incorporation be issued to said Authority, the Boroughs of Zelienople and Harmony and the Townships of Jackson and Lancaster, all of Butler County, Pennsylvania, do hereby certify:
A.
The name of the Authority shall be "Western Butler County Authority."
B.
The Authority is formed under the Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended.
C.
No other joint authority has been organized under the provisions of this Act, or the Act approved June 28, 1935, P.L. 463, and is in existence within said Boroughs and Townships.
D.
The names of the incorporating municipalities are the Boroughs of Zelienople and Harmony and the Townships of Jackson and Lancaster, all of Butler County, Pennsylvania.
E.
The names and addresses of the municipal authorities of the incorporating municipalities are: (Here followed the names and addresses of the Mayor, and Council of the Boroughs of Zelienople and Harmony then those of the Boards of Supervisors of Jackson and Lancaster Townships.)
F.
The names and addresses and terms of office of the first members of the Board of said Joint Authority are as follows: (Here followed the names, addresses and terms of office of the first members of the Board.)
G.
The purpose of this Joint Authority is to and it is hereby directed and empowered to undertake the planning, acquisition, construction, financing and operation of a regional sanitary sewage collection, transportation and treatment system to serve the incorporating municipalities and adjacent areas, and to undertake from time to time such other projects as authorities are authorized to undertake and the incorporating municipalities shall jointly direct and authorize by resolutions duly adopted by all of said municipalities.
H.
The members of this Joint Authority are hereby authorized and directed to each be paid salaries of $10 per meeting attended, with a maximum not to exceed $30 per month, notwithstanding that the total meetings attended in any given month may exceed three. Moneys for payment of these salaries shall come only from proceeds of Authority obligations to be issued in the future or from revenues generated by Authority projects after said revenues are received.
