Effective as of the date of this Part, all Township employees other
than those specifically exempted herein shall reside in the boundaries
of Harrison Township at all times, except when a temporary waiver
is obtained from the Board of Commissioners for good cause shown.

Employees subject to this Part and hired after the date of this Part
who reside outside the Township at the time of hiring shall have six
months from the date of hire to move into the Township.
4.Â
All employees subject to this Part hired after the date of this Part
shall submit to the Township a written, notarized oath of residency,
identifying the address at which they reside. In addition, the Township
may, at any time, require any employee subject to this Part to supply
such a written notarized oath of residency.
5.Â
Violation of residency requirements imposed herein or submission
of a false or inaccurate residency oath shall be cause for termination.
6.Â
This Part shall be effective upon the date of adoption by the Board
of Commissioners of Harrison Township.
7.Â
Any person who shall violate any provision of this Part shall upon
conviction thereof be subject to fines and penalties not exceeding
$600 per day of violation.
