Article I Residency Requirements

§ 20-1 Residency of various Village officers.

The persons appointed to the following offices of the Village of Dundee shall be residents of Yates County or of a county contiguous to Yates County:

A. Village Clerk and any Deputy Village Clerk(s) (Village Code § 1-1).

B. Village Treasurer and any Deputy Village Treasurer (Village code § 1-1).

C. Code Enforcement Officer, Building Inspector and/or Zoning Officer (Village Code §§ 47-3, 109-18 and 138-30).

D. Fair Housing Officer and any Deputy Fair Housing Officer (Village Code Chapter 57).

E. Animal Enforcement Officer (Village Code § 58-4).

F. Health Officer and any Deputy Health Officer (Village Code § 1-1).

G. Registrar of Vital Statistics (Village Code § 1-1).

H. Justice Court Clerk and any Deputy Justice Court Clerk.

I. Historian and any Deputy Historian.
