Every person propelling any pushcart or riding a bicycle or
an animal upon a roadway and every person driving any animal-drawn
vehicle shall be subject to the provisions of this chapter applicable
to the driver of any vehicle, except those provisions of this chapter
which, by their very nature, can have no application.
Any person riding upon any bicycle, motorcycle, coaster, sled,
roller skates or any toy vehicle shall not attach the same or himself
to any streetcar or moving vehicle upon any roadway.
The operator of a motorcycle or bicycle, when upon a street,
shall not carry any other person upon the handlebar, frame or tank
of any such vehicle, nor shall any person so ride upon any such vehicle.
No person upon roller skates or riding in or by means of any
coaster, toy vehicle or similar device shall go upon any roadway except
while crossing a street on a crosswalk and except upon streets set
aside as play streets when and as authorized by ordinance of this
City.
