Any contract or license entered into by the County of Suffolk
with any individual, corporation, partnership, limited partnership,
joint venture, proprietor or other business entity for the purpose
of operating a vending machine on County-owned and/or -leased premises
or facilities shall contain a term and condition requiring the vending
machine operator to post information on said vending machine regarding
the procedure for obtaining a refund after the malfunction or nonfunction
of said machine or a toll-free number from which information on such
procedures may be obtained.
Any contract or license entered into by the County of Suffolk
on or after the effective date of this article without such a term
or condition shall be deemed null and void ab initio.
