City of Hoboken, NJ Handicapped Parking

Restricted parking; handicap spaces reserved. Pursuant to the provisions of this § 190-30A, the locations described herein shall be reserved for those persons who qualify under the Motor Vehicles and Traffic Regulations guidelines, N.J.S.A 39:4-197(3)(c), 39:4-197.7 and 39:4-204, and to whom the signage bears their vehicle registration. No other person shall park or stand, handicapped or otherwise, a vehicle in these spaces.

Restricted parking; general handicap spaces. Pursuant to the provisions of this § 190-30B, the locations described herein shall be established for general handicap use by all persons who have been issued special vehicle identification cards by Motor Vehicle Services in compliance with N.J.S.A. 39:4-197.5.

Pursuant to the authority granted to the City of Hoboken by N.J.S.A. 39:4-197, the following locations are hereby designated as restricted parking spaces for use by persons who have been issued special vehicle identification cards by the Division of Motor Vehicles.
