The boundaries of all zone districts are shown on a map which is on file in the office of the Township Clerk and is made part of this chapter by reference hereto and is known as the "Zoning Map of the Township of Eastampton," dated February 5, 1999. Said map and all notations and references thereon are hereby incorporated into and prepared to be a part of this chapter. The properties set forth in the Zoning Map shall be zoned as indicated. The use and area restrictions set forth in this Code shall apply therein as per the designation.
Where uncertainty exists as to any of the boundaries as shown on said map, the following rules shall apply:
A.
Zone boundary lines are intended to follow the center line of streets, railroad rights-of-way, streams and lot or property lines as they exist on plats of record at the time of the passage of this chapter, unless such zone boundary lines are fixed by dimensions shown on the Zoning Map.
B.
Where such boundaries are not fixed by dimensions and where they approximately follow lines and where they do not scale more than 10 feet distant therefrom, such lot lines shall be construed to be such boundaries unless specifically shown otherwise.
C.
In unsubdivided land and where a zone boundary divides a lot, the location of such boundary, unless the same is indicated by dimensions shown on the map, shall be determined by the use of the scale appearing thereon.
[Amended 3-8-1999 by Ord. No. 1999-03]
