GENERAL REFERENCES
Wetlands and watercourses — See Chs. 227 and 510.
Pursuant to P.A. 89-305 of the State of Connecticut, the Legislative Council of Newtown does hereby authorize the Newtown Inland Wetlands Commission to act as the Town's Aquifer Protection Agency (APA).[1]

The regular and alternate members of the APA shall be the same as the regular members of the Newtown Inland Wetlands Commission and shall serve for terms established in Chapter 227, Wetlands and Watercourses, § 227-2, of the Code of the Town of Newtown.
During the process of drafting the regulations, the APA shall consult with the Newtown Planning and Zoning Commission, Water and Sewer Authority, and the Health Department.
