In case of any development or in case any building or structure is erected, constructed, altered, repaired, converted or maintained or any building or structure or land is used so as to constitute a violation of any of the provisions of this chapter or to be in violation of §
424-48B and
C or any regulation made under the authority conferred hereby, the proper local authorities of the Township, including the Zoning Officer or any interested party, in addition to any other remedy or remedies, may institute proceedings to prevent such unlawful erection, construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair, conversion, maintenance or use, to restrain, correct or abate such violation, to prevent the occupancy of said building, structure or land and to prevent any illegal act, conduct, business or use in or about such premises.
