Every owner, tenant, occupant or other person having charge or control of any building or lot of land abutting upon any street or public place where the sidewalk is flagged, concreted, paved or laid must keep the sidewalk in front of the premises clean and free from papers, rags, scraps, sticks, earth, rubbish, refuse, snow and ice.
No person may throw, drop or project any heavy object upon the sidewalks or pavements of the village so as to injure the same.
Every person must cut the grass and weeds on the terrace adjoining his or her lot twice each summer or when notified to do so by the Superintendent of Public Works. Any person neglecting or refusing to cut such grass or weeds within 48 hours after being so notified is liable to a penalty not to exceed twice the expense of cutting.
No person may drive or propel any vehicle, horse, wagon, bicycle or skateboard on any sidewalk or crosswalk, except to cross the same.
No person may cover or obstruct any fire hydrants.
No person may burn any waste, leaves or other materials on any public street, terrace or sidewalk.
The Village Board may grant permits or licenses for any special or general use of any street, sidewalk or terrace.
