The Township may require owners of the property abutting on any street, including state highways, to repair the sidewalk along such property, at such grades and under such regulations as may be prescribed by the Township.
The Township may require owners of property abutting state highways and owners of any nonresidential property to repair the curbs along such property, at such grades and under such regulations as may be prescribed by the Township.
Notice to repair sidewalks and/or curbs shall be given by registered or certified mail to abutting property owners, at the address to which tax bills are sent, and the owners shall have 30 days to comply with the notice in conformity with any specifications prescribed by the Township Engineer.
At any time during the performance of the required work, the Township Engineer may inspect the work to determine whether construction specifications are being observed.
Upon the failure of any property owner to maintain any sidewalk or curb in compliance with notice to do so, the Township may do the same or cause the same to be done and may levy the cost of its work on such owner as a property lien, to be collected in the manner provided by the Municipal Claims and Tax Liens Act, Act of May 16, 1923, as amended.[1]

Every owner of property which abuts sidewalks shall at all times keep in good repair all sidewalks abutting said property. Every owner of property, the principal use of which is not residential, and every owner of property along state highways shall at all times keep in good repair the curbs abutting said property.

Every person in charge or control of any building or any land fronting or abutting on a paved sidewalk, whether as owner, tenant, occupant, lessee, or otherwise, shall remove and clear away, or cause to be removed and cleared away, snow and/or ice from the sidewalk in front of or abutting said building or lot of land. Snow and ice shall be removed from sidewalks within 36 hours after the cessation of any fall of snow, sleet, or freezing rain.
No person shall deposit or cause to be deposited any snow or ice on or immediately next to a fire hydrant or on any sidewalk or road or street within the Township.

Any person, firm, corporation, or utility which shall violate §§ 159-24.3, 159-24.4 and 159-24.5 shall be issued a citation by Warwick Township. The citation shall provide that the responsible party may pay the fine by paying the sum of $50 at the Township Building within 48 hours of receiving the fine. If the fine is not paid, a summons shall be issued, and upon conviction of the violation before a District Justice, the responsible party shall be assessed a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $300, plus the costs of prosecution. Each thirty-six-hour period within which snow or ice is not removed from the sidewalk shall constitute a new and separate violation, punishable as described above.
