There shall be in the City of Port Republic an office of the
Fire Subcode Official.
There shall be appointed to this office a Fire Subcode Official,
who shall execute and otherwise perform those duties required in order
to ensure compliance with and the execution of the State Uniform Construction
Code Act and the related provisions of the New Jersey Administrative
Code.[1]

The compensation to be paid to the duly appointed Port Republic
Fire Subcode Official shall be $20 for each inspection which he or
she performs in the execution of the duties hereby imposed on this
office.
