Persons applying for a dog license and registration tag shall
pay a fee of $11, provided that any person who presents a certificate
to the City Clerk signed by a licensed veterinarian stating that the
dog has been spayed or neutered shall pay a license fee of $6. Any
person who has paid during 1996 a fee in excess of the amount provided
for in this article shall receive a credit towards their license fees
in 1997 for the excess fee paid in 1996.
All dog licenses shall be issued by the City Clerk of the City
of Port Republic.

The fee for picking up and disposing of a dog shall be as set
by City Council.[1]

If an owner claims a dog after seizure, said owner shall pay
a sum to be set by City Council[1] to cover the expenses incurred by reason of the dog's
detention and maintenance, in accordance with N.J.S.A. 4:19-15.16.
