The property known as Block 15, Lot 10, is hereby designated
as the "City of Port Republic Transfer Station."
Only individuals who are residents of the City of Port Republic
will be permitted to use the Transfer Station. Port Republic residents,
upon presentation of proof of residency deemed to be acceptable by
the City Clerk, shall be issued permits which shall be displayed on
the passenger side front bumper of the vehicle. Only vehicles displaying
these permits will be allowed within the area of the Transfer Station.
The vehicle permits shall not be transferable.
The hours of operation of the Transfer Station will be set by
resolution.
Household refuse, classified as Type 13 under the regulations
of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, shall be
permitted to be disposed of at the Transfer Station. Residents shall
also be permitted to dispose of large bulk items, such as refrigerators,
furniture and other typical household items. No refuse from building
projects (new or old), remodeling, repairs, demolition or construction
will be accepted.
