Township of Long Beach, NJ Article V Employee Parking at Township Municipal Building

§ 189-36 Regulations pertaining to employee parking lot.

A. Regulation of parking in the employee parking area located between Ocean Boulevard and the easterly side line of the Long Beach Township Municipal Building as the same is extended in a northerly direction to Meade Avenue is as follows:

(1) In the employee parking area located on the westerly side line of Ocean Boulevard between the northerly side line of Stockton Avenue and the southerly side line of Meade Avenue, parking shall be prohibited except for Municipal employees between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except on holidays.

(2) The section designated for the Mayor shall be reserved for the Mayor, and no public parking shall be permitted at all in that section at anytime on any day of the year.

B. A violation of this article shall be punished as provided in § 1-17 of the Code of Long Beach Township unless and until specific penalties have been approved by the vicinage Assignment Judge after which approval the violations bureau schedule shall be adopted to designate in § 1-19A Part 1 penalty for a violation of § 189-36 as $50.
