Police officers of the West Manchester Township Police Department are hereby authorized to issue parking tickets for violations of:

The parking violations prescribed by the Vehicles Code of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania;[1] and

B. 
The parking violations prescribed by any ordinance, rule or regulation prescribed by West Manchester Township.

In addition to the police officers of the West Manchester Township Police Department, individuals acting as security guards at the West Manchester Mall are empowered and authorized to issue parking tickets for parking violations that occur upon the premises of the West Manchester Mall. The Board of Supervisors of West Manchester Township may, by appropriate motion, from time to time, designate other agents, security guards and law enforcement officers as individuals empowered and authorized to enforce parking regulations within the confines of West Manchester Township.
The parking ticket authorized to be issued by this chapter shall be in a form approved by the Board of Supervisors of West Manchester Township and shall inform the defendant of the nature of the charge for which the ticket has been issued; the fine imposed, which shall be as specified in the Vehicles Code for violations of the Vehicles Code or as specified in the West Manchester Township ordinance, rule or regulation which has been violated; and the place where and the time period within which he may pay the fine.
In the event that any parking ticket is not paid within the time for payment stated thereon, a police officer of the West Manchester Police Department may proceed under the appropriate rule of criminal procedure to file a citation with an issuing authority and request a summons be issued thereon.
