Town of Poestenkill, NY Chapter 42 Meetings

§ 42-1 Mandatory locations for posting notices of meetings.

In accordance with the Open Meetings Law,[1] the following locations shall be and hereby are designated as the public location or locations for posting notices of meetings of public bodies of the Town of Poestenkill:

A. The signboard maintained by the Town Clerk in accordance with Subdivision 6 of § 30 of the Town Law of the State of New York, located inside the main entrance door of the Poestenkill Town Hall.

§ 42-2 Additional locations for posting notices of meetings.

Notices of meetings may, but need not, be posted in any other location or locations where such notices are likely to be seen and read by the general public.

§ 42-3 Posting on Town website. [1]

Notice of the time and place of a meeting given in accordance with the Public Officers Law shall also be conspicuously posted on the Town website.
