A.
Except as provided in §§ 350.04 and 350.045, Wis.
Stats., no person shall operate a snowmobile upon any public right-of-way,
in any public park, sidewalk, pedestrianway, or on any other public
municipal property in the Village of Rothschild except upon such routes
and trails as may be designated and marked by order of the Village
Board of the Village of Rothschild from time to time. Please see attached
map.[1] Snowmobiles are allowed to operate along roadway and established
trail system to access businesses in the Cedar Creek area between
County Road XX, Stoney Rivers Drive, Eagle Nest Boulevard, and Tesch
Lane.

B.
Posting signs. The Department of Public Works and Rothschild Urbanaries
Snowmobile Club are directed and authorized to procure, erect and
maintain appropriate snowmobile trail and route signs and standards
as approved by the state pursuant to § 350.13, Wis. Stats.

C.
Obeying signs. No person shall fail to obey any trail and route signs
and standards erected in accordance with this Chapter.
D.
Speed. No person shall operate a snowmobile upon any designated and
marked route or trail in the Village of Rothschild at a speed in excess
of the posted limit or 15 miles per hour, whichever is lower.
No person shall operate a snowmobile upon the property of another
located within the municipal boundaries of the Village of Rothschild
without the express consent of the owner or his agent, except upon
such routes and trails as may be designated and marked by order of
the Village Board of the Village of Rothschild from time to time.
The Clerk shall file a copy of this Chapter upon its enactment
and publication with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources,
Marathon County Sheriff's Department, and the Village's police department.
