There is an area known as the "Solomons Island Boardwalk." The Solomons Island Boardwalk shall include the wooden boardwalk located in Solomons Island which runs parallel to and is on the west side of Maryland Route 2.

The Department of General Services shall cause to be erected, posted and maintained signs or other suitable identification at regular intervals:
A. 
Identifying the area known as the Solomon's Island Boardwalk; and
B. 
Informing the public of the prohibitions contained in this chapter.
No person shall operate, park, stand, use or drive any wheeled recreational vehicle on the Solomons Island Boardwalk. "Wheeled recreational vehicle" shall mean any wheeled vehicle used primarily for recreational purposes and shall include, but not be limited to, unicycles, bicycles, tricycles, roller skates, in-line skates, rollerblades, skateboards, or any motorized vehicle. Baby strollers and wheel chairs or other aids to personal movement necessitated by a person's physical condition shall not be subject to this chapter.

There shall be no crabbing or fishing from the Solomons Island Boardwalk.
Any person convicted of violating the provisions of this chapter shall subject to a fine not to exceed $500.
