A.
The Mayor shall appoint with the consent of Council two representatives to the local municipal alliance committee. Representatives must be residents of the Borough. Each representative shall serve a three-year term commencing on January 1 of the year in which they are appointed.
B.
It shall be the duty of the local municipal alliance committee, in consultation with the local advisory committee on alcoholism and drug abuse, to identify alcoholism and drug prevention, education and community needs, as well as implementing programs formulated pursuant to N.J.S.A. 26:2BB-8.
