Mossy Bank Park shall be open to the general public year round from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily. Public road access will be from May 1 to October 14. For the period from October 15 through April 30, the park shall be open to hunters. The carrying of or discharge of firearms in the park at any other times shall be prohibited.

Picnicking is permitted only in designated areas. Fires are permissible in conventional grills in designated picnic areas only and are to be in conformance with state laws and regulations. Campfires and celebratory bonfires are allowed only by letter of request, approved by the Village Board of Trustees, and only in conformance with state laws and regulations.

Snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles are prohibited anywhere in Mossy Bank Park. Motorcycle and motor vehicle traffic is limited to designated roads and parking areas. The provisions of this section shall not apply to Village of Bath maintenance motor vehicles or to police, fire, ambulance or other emergency motor vehicles. All terms herein shall have the same meaning as defined in the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York.

With the exception of legal hunting, removal or introduction of any plant or animal specimen is prohibited, except by permission of the Bath Village Board of Trustees.
Swimming and boating are prohibited.

Camping, trail building, hang gliding, competitive events, and experimentation, including but not limited to soil samples, water samples and Cooperative Extension's woodlot, are prohibited except upon approval of the Bath Village Board of Trustees after submission by the applicant of a letter of request to the Bath Village Clerk, together with proof of insurance in an amount set by the Bath Village Board of Trustees and naming the Village of Bath as an additional insured.

A. 
No surface entry is permissible for gas, oil or mineral drilling or seismic testing.
B. 
No radio, cell, communications or microwave towers are permissible.
Permission to use Mossy Bank Park is contingent upon compliance with the above rules and regulations, and any person present at times or in a manner contrary to that provided above shall be deemed to be a trespasser within the meaning of § 140.05 of the Penal Law of the State of New York and shall be prosecuted as such.

Hours are hereby established for access by the public to the parks and playgrounds operated by the Village of Bath as follows:
A. 
During periods when the Village is subject to Eastern standard time, the parks and playgrounds shall be open from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. daily.
B. 
During periods when the Village is subject to Eastern daylight saving time, the parks and playgrounds shall be open from 6:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.
Any person present in or on any park or playground operated by the Village of Bath at such times as the park or playground is not open for access to the public, as hereinabove provided, shall be deemed to be a trespasser within the meaning of § 140.05 of the Penal Law of the State of New York.
