[Ord. 46, 2/5/1998]
1.
On all roadways in the Township, no person shall stop, park or stand
any vehicle, whether attended or unattended, upon the roadway when
it is practicable to stop, park or stand the vehicle off the highway.
In the event it is necessary to stop, park or stand the vehicle on
the roadway or any part of the roadway, an unobstructed width of the
highway opposite of the vehicle shall be left for the free passage
of other vehicles.
2.
Exception for Disabled Vehicles. This section and § 602

vehicle on the side of the roadway. In such event, the operator of
the vehicle shall make arrangements to have the disabled vehicle moved
to a safe location, permissible under the terms hereof, within 24
hours of said vehicle being stopped. If the stopping, standing or

constitutes a safety hazard, the operator shall immediately make arrangements
to have the vehicle appropriately marked to warn drivers and pedestrians
of the safety hazard and shall make arrangements to have the disabled
vehicle moved to a safe location, permissible under the terms hereof,
within four hours of said vehicle being stopped.
