Section C-33-E of the City Charter of the City of Troy requires
the Mayor to keep the City Council fully advised of the financial
conditions and needs of the City. Section C-14-A-9 of the City Charter
of the City of Troy requires the City Council to make all appropriations
and reappropriations of City funds.
The purpose of this chapter to assist the Mayor in his or her
obligations to keep the City Council informed and to assist the City
Council in reviewing and properly making appropriations of City funds.
The City Comptroller shall provide to the City Council and to
the Mayor a quarterly financial report in the format of revenues and
expenditures as of the end of each fiscal quarter with a comparison
to the prior fiscal year in the same time period for the General,
Water and Sewer Funds. In accordance with the schedule below, for
each fiscal year the reports will be due as follows:
