This article is adopted pursuant to the provisions of the New
York Municipal Home Rule Law.
The Town Board of the Town of Stanford elects to adopt this
article to permit the placement of enclosure notices with tax bills
in the Town of Stanford. This includes a legend printed on the tax
bill or a separate document, insert, flyer, notice, circular, handbill,
card, pamphlet or other information to be included with the tax bill.
As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the
meanings indicated:
Includes the state, county and Town tax bills, as well as
the school tax bill for properties within the Town of Stanford.
The Town Board of the Town of Stanford, by resolution adopted
by the Town Board, may direct that such notice be included with the
tax bill in such form and manner as it may decide.
