GENERAL REFERENCES

No person shall, except in necessary defense of person or property, fire or discharge any gun or other firearm within the geographic boundaries of the Borough of West Mifflin.
This article shall not apply to members of the Armed Forces of the United States of America or law enforcement officers when used in the discharge of their official duties and/or training or to members of a gun club existing under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania which has an occupancy permit issued by the Borough of West Mifflin to utilize the said grounds as a gun club for target practice and/or clay or trap shooting. The only authorized gun club or organization located within the geographic boundaries of the Borough of West Mifflin at the time this article was enacted is the Clairton Gun Club.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine not to exceed $1,000, plus costs, and, in default of payment of said fine and costs, to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 30 days. Each day that a violation of this article continues shall constitute a separate offense.
