Pursuant to the provisions of MGL c. 58, § 8C, the Mayor is hereby authorized to negotiate on behalf of the City an affordable housing tax agreement (agreement). The agreement must then be approved by a vote of the City Council. Once the agreement has been approved by the City Council, the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the City.
