A. 
Caroline County is divided into eight election districts according to the names, boundaries and limits heretofore established and as set forth on the Map of Caroline County Showing Topography and the Election Districts, revised as of 1950 by the State Department of Geology, Mines and Water Resources.
B. 
All elections for public office shall be held in each of said districts at the places heretofore established for that purpose, unless and until the locations are changed by the Board of Supervisors of Elections of Caroline County.

A. 
There shall be three Board of Education districts in Caroline County.
B. 
Board of Education districts shall be drawn in accordance with applicable law as applies to drawing of election districts generally, including, but not limited to, compactness of districts, commonality of interests, natural or jurisdictional borders, and other relevant factors.
C. 
Board of Education districts shall be numbered 001, 002, and 003.
D. 
Board of Education districts shall be reapportioned in accordance with state law upon each decennial census of the United States.
A. 
"Election districts" as used herein refers to Election Districts 01 through 08 as the same existed as of September 1, 2011, in the official records of the Board of Elections for Caroline County.
B. 
District 001 shall consist of all of Election Districts 01 and 07 and a portion of Election District 02, as illustrated on the Board of Education Election District Map attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and as further described in § 28-13.
C. 
District 002 shall consist of all of Election Districts 03 and 06 and the remainder of Election District 02 not placed in District 001.
D. 
District 003 shall consist of Election Districts 04, 05, and 08.
A. 
That portion of Election District 02 assigned to Board of Education District 001 is as follows: All that portion of Election District 02 that lies generally north or above a line drawn through Election District 02 and described as follows:
Commencing from a point where Ridgely Road crosses Forge Branch, from which point the line follows Ridgely Road northeast towards Greensboro for approximately 3,332 feet. From this point the line turns directly southeast and travels overland for 395 feet, east northeast 2,000 feet overland, east southeast 4,730 feet overland, east northeast 3,100 feet overland, northeast 3,265 feet overland, and 2,975 feet east southeast overland until it meets the intersection of Greensboro Road and Knifebox Road. From the intersection of Greensboro Road and Knifebox Road the line travels northwards along Greensboro Road to the intersection of Greensboro Road and Wheeler Drive. The line follows Wheeler Drive northeast and northwest to the intersection of Wheeler Drive and Whiteleysburg Road. From the intersection of Wheeler Drive and Whiteleysburg Road, the line follows Whiteleysburg Road east to the intersection of Whiteleysburg Road and the Maryland-Delaware state line.
B. 
The remainder of Election District 02 not allocated to Board of Education District 001 is assigned to Board of Education District 002.
C. 
Descriptions and maps of the Board of Education districts shall be maintained in the Caroline County Department of Planning and Codes, the office of the County Attorney, and in the office of the Board of Elections for Caroline County.
