All ordinances or parts of ordinances that are inconsistent
with the provisions of this chapter are hereby repealed to the extent
of such inconsistency. This chapter shall be amended as required by
the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Title 44 Code of Federal
Regulations. All subsequent amendments to this chapter are subject
to the approval of the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the
Maryland Department of the Environment.
Whenever in this chapter a standard, reference guide, bulletin,
or other similar matter is cited, such citation shall refer to all
subsequent editions, issuances, amendments or clarifications thereto
or thereof.
