A Commission For All Ages is hereby established pursuant to the provisions of 53 Pa.C.S.A. § 46202 et seq., which shall be known as the "Doylestown Borough Commission For All Ages," and hereinafter referred to as the "Commission For All Ages (CFAA)."

The purpose of the Commission For All Ages (CFAA) shall be to advise Borough Council on matters dealing with matters designed to promote interaction between and among Borough residents of all ages by the creation of formal and informal connections through community activities, volunteer groups, and individual relationships.

The Commission For All Ages (CFAA) shall consist of nine members who shall be appointed by Borough Council. Initially, Borough Council shall appoint three members to serve for a term of three years, three members to serve for a term of two years, and three members to serve for a term of one year. At the expiration of the said initial terms and thereafter, Borough Council shall appoint, or reappoint as the case may be, members to serve for a term of three years. Borough Council shall fill all vacancies in the Commission For All Ages (CFAA) by appointment for the unexpired term.

All members of the Commission For All Ages (CFAA) shall be residents of the Borough of Doylestown and shall serve without compensation.

The Commission For All Ages (CFAA) shall at the request of Borough Council have the power and authority to take such actions, conduct such programs and events and otherwise function to carry out its purposes including the power to:

Work toward and achieve the goal of a livable community that is youth and elder friendly.
2. 
Address issues and concerns of families and all age groups.
3. 
Give advice and make recommendations to Borough Council with respect to such actions, programs, events or functions designed to carry out its purposes.

1. 
The Commission For All Ages (CFAA) may adopt such rules, regulations and bylaws, consistent with this Subpart, as it deems necessary for efficient administration and operation and for the proper conduct of meetings.
2. 
The Commission For All Ages (CFAA) shall keep records of its meetings and activities and shall make an annual report to Borough Council. In addition to the foregoing, the Commission For All Ages (CFAA) shall keep minutes of each meeting and forward a copy of same to Borough Council promptly upon approval and acceptance of same.

The provisions of this Subpart are declared to be severable. If any provision of this Subpart is declared to be invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, such determination shall have no effect on the remaining provisions of this Subpart.
