The Town Board of the Town of Frankfort is authorized to appoint
as many constables in and for the Town of Frankfort as the Town Board
from time to time may determine necessary.
Such appointment shall be made by resolution of the Town Board.
The constables, in addition to all the powers and authority
conferred by the general laws of the State of New York, shall also
serve as officers for enforcement of the Code of the Town of Frankfort,
and they shall report any and all violations of the Code of the Town
of Frankfort to the appropriate code enforcement officer.
Constables shall serve at the pleasure of the Town Board.
