City of Nanticoke, PA Article V Energy Conservation Standards

§ 210-19 Adoption of standards.

A certain document, three copies of which are on file in the Zoning and Code Enforcement Department of the City of Nanticoke, being marked and designated as the International Energy Conservation Code, 2009 Edition, as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Energy Conservation Code of the City of Nanticoke, in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, regulating and governing efficient building envelopes and installation of energy-efficient mechanical, lighting and power systems as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor, and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Energy Conservation Code on file in the Zoning and Code Enforcement Department of the City of Nanticoke are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set forth at length in this article, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in § 210-20 of this article.

§ 210-20 Revisions.

The following sections are hereby revised:

A. Section 101.1. Insert: "City of Nanticoke."

§ 210-21 Effect on pending acts.

Nothing in this article or in the Energy Conservation Code hereby adopted shall be construed to affect any suit or proceeding pending in any court, or any rights acquired, or liability incurred, or any cause or causes of action acquired or existing under any act or ordinance hereby repealed; nor shall any just or legal right or remedy of any character be lost, impaired or affected by this article.

§ 210-22 Future code changes incorporated by reference.

Nanticoke City Council hereby adopts and incorporates herein by reference any future changes made to the International Energy Conservation Code.
