No person, firm or corporation shall operate or permit or allow
to be operated upon the premises of such person, firm or corporation,
and within the City of Warren any gas engine, gasoline engine or steam
engine with an exhaust or any compressor or any other machinery or
mechanical device of any kind whatsoever making a noise which may
be offensive to the inhabitants of the City of Warren.

Any person, firm or corporation operating any compressor or
any other machinery or mechanical device of any kind whatsoever within
the City of Warren shall cause the exhaust from such engine, compressor
or other machinery or mechanical device to be so muffled, controlled
or insulated that it shall make no noise that will be offensive to
the inhabitants of the City of Warren.

Any person who shall violate any provision of this article shall,
upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine not exceeding
$600 plus costs and, in default of payment thereof, shall be subject
to imprisonment for a term not to exceed 30 days. Each day that a
violation of this article continues shall constitute a separate offense.
