As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
BUSINESS DISTRICT
On Tenth Street from Washington Avenue to Bald Eagle Avenue; Pennsylvania Avenue from the Conrail branch line leading from Tyrone to Bellefonte to Fourteenth Street; South Logan Avenue from Tenth Street to Ninth Street; Logan Avenue from Tenth Street to Twelfth Street; Blair Avenue from Tenth Street to Twelfth Street; Fourteenth Street from Pennsylvania Avenue to Logan Avenue; Thirteenth Street from Pennsylvania Avenue to Logan Avenue; Twelfth Street from Pennsylvania Avenue to Logan Avenue; and Eleventh Street from Pennsylvania Avenue to Logan Avenue.
PEDALCYCLE
A vehicle propelled solely by human-powered pedals.
TRAFFICWAY
The entire width between property lines or other boundary lines of every way or place of which any part is open to the public for purposes of vehicular travel as a matter of right or custom.
A. 
No person shall ride upon or utilize in any manner upon the streets, alleys and trafficways in the Borough of Tyrone, Blair County, Pennsylvania, any skateboard, roller skates, scooter or any other human-powered device other than pedalcycles.
B. 
No person shall ride upon or utilize any skateboard, roller skates, scooters or any other human-powered device upon a sidewalk in a business district in the Borough of Tyrone.
C. 
Any person riding upon or utilizing any skateboard, roller skates, scooters or any other human-powered device, other than pedalcycles, upon a sidewalk other than in a business district, in a playground or in any other places open to pedestrian traffic shall yield the right-of-way to any pedestrian and shall utilize any such devices with all due regard to the safety of pedestrians and property.
D. 
No person shall erect or place any type of ramp designed for use with skateboards, roller skates, scooters, pedalcycles or any other human-powered vehicles on the streets, alleys, sidewalks and trafficways in the Borough of Tyrone.
E. 
Repeated violations of this chapter or refusal to comply shall be cause for seizure of the device or devices being used in violation of this chapter.
It shall be the duty of the Tyrone Borough Police Department to enforce the provisions of this chapter.
Whosoever violates any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $25 nor more than $600.
