Article I Television Monitoring and Recording Systems

[Adopted 8-13-2008 by Ord. No. 1236]

§ 88-1 System required in certain retail establishments.

Any retail establishment with hours of operation during any period of time between 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. shall be equipped with a television monitoring and recording system approved by the Lindenwold Borough Police Department.

§ 88-2 Standards and requirements.

The Lindenwold Borough Police Department shall develop standards and requirements for such systems and shall develop an application/permit system to enforce the provision of this article.

§ 88-3 Waivers.

The Chief of Police is empowered to issue waivers from this article in the appropriate circumstances.

§ 88-4 Violations and penalties. [1]

Any person violating any of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to the penalties as set forth in Chapter 1, § 1-1, of this Code.
